If coming from Sam Houston Tollway:

Use the dark, evil Googleplex to find your way to intersection of Hillcroft and South Braeswood, south on Hillcroft, east (left turn) on Willowbend, north (right turn) on Mullins, right turn on Stillbrooke, we are at 5750, where street makes a dogleg.

If coming from 610:

Exit Braeswood, turn right heading west about 1 mile, turn left (south) on Chimney Rock, turn right (west) to Mullins, etc. (see above).

Childproof house, friendly dog, bring an appetite and your spouse, bring kids, babies, camera.

Fun starts at 6:30. We are planning for 25 to 30.

The Silbermans have opened their home & will provide hamburgers & hot dogs. Others who were in class on Sunday have signed up for the following items.

Here are some upcoming events to put on your calendar for June:

• Eli Lofts birthday - Eli is celebrating his 3rd birthday on Sat 6/7 from 2-4pm at the Tallowood indoor playground. Give Nicole a call if you’ll be joining in the fun!
• Outreach - We’re taking the month off, so no outreach this month.
• 3rd Sunday Lunch - June 22nd, location TBD
• Childcare Social w/ Disciples class - June 27th, details to follow

• Lesson - We’ll be starting the new quarterly. I’ll send an email with the lesson when I get the literature from John.

• Ethan & I will be in Dallas for his brother’s high school graduation next week. Thanks to the Russell’s for filling in for us!

Dave & Jess Ray’s CD Release Concert: Fri 5/30 - In the Tallowood Activities Center at 7:30pm. Free admission.

Class outing to Kemah: Sat 5/31 - We’ll meet at the church at 10am to carpool. More information coming soon…

Women’s Bible Study: Bad Girls of the Bible - Some of the girls will be participating in this study and we would love for everyone to join us. The Study will meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 in the Fireplace Room, begining June 23. You can register online at http://www.tallowood.org/ministries/women.aspx. You can also purchase the study book for $14 on the first night of the class.

I tried to upload this video onto the blog yesterday, but couldn’t get it to work, so here it is. I think it’s pretty funny.

 Also just wanted to remind everyone that I think our lesson for this coming Sunday, May 4, will continue on David and Bathsheba, but we also might talk about Soloman and his many wives.

 Doug informed me that tomorrow’s lesson, 4/27,  is on David and Bathsheba. I thought I would post it just in case anyone else would like to read up on it. Maybe this week we can post some comments on certain things we discuss tomorrow and get some real use out of this blog.
